Fork originally began in 2017 as a seasonal pop-up restaurant that operated out of a local coffee shop in Witless Bay during the evening hours after closing. Fork are grateful to the Irish Loop Coffee House for sharing their building with them during our first two seasons. Beginning this season, Fork will be operating in its very own space just 6 short minutes away from our previous location.
Owner/Chef Kayla O’Brien, along with her husband and Executive Chef Kyle Puddester, have renovated a portion of their home into a cozy and welcoming 28 seat casual-fine dining destination. This quaint dining experience is sitting on a scenic 5 acre property in the community of Mobile (next to Tinker's Point Path - East Coast Trail) located on the southern shore of Newfoundland.
O'Brien and Puddester love to incorporate seasonal fare, supporting local farmers and local producers, in their menu. Their goal for the future is to develop their surrounding property into farm land for growing their own herbs and vegetables as well as cultivating other ingredients that can be used in their recipes. They also plan to utilize their outdoor space for private functions and events. Fork invites you to come dine and experience fine dining in a casual, relaxed atmosphere.
